It's your responsibility to have electronic equipment in good working order so you can take full part in this course. At a minimum, you must have a working computer with speakers, a microphone, and a webcam. If you don't have personal electronic equipment, you must arrange to use equipment at the university or another location. Lack of access to equipment won't be accepted as a reason for not taking part in the course requirements.
You'll need a desktop or laptop with a current operating system.
Built-in or external speakers both work, and you'll need them for the video and audio content.
A microphone is required for video discussion posts.
A webcam is required for video discussion posts.
You'll need a reliable broadband connection.

You'll complete the discussions inside Canvas. You record or upload your video with the media button in the Canvas editor, so you won't need a separate account or an extra login. Before you record, your browser must allow camera and microphone access. Current versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari are the most reliable browsers for recording.
